Classes and Lessons
We offer both group classes and private lessons. Our studio is fully equipped with the most updated modern fencing equipment and scoring systems. We recommend starting with the 2-month beginner or intermediate/advance plans listed below. After the initial two months , the student can continue with a month-to-month, 6 months, or 1 year membership plan.
Beginner
The beginner classes will teach students modern fencing form, footwork, blade-work, basic defense/offense, and rules. At the end of the program, students will be able to fence, direct bouts as a referee, understand rules and restrictions. In-club gear use is included for the two-month duration of the program.
Schedule: Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs/5pm and 6pm classes.
Program duration: 2 months, 2x classes per week
Cost: $279
Intermediate/Advanced
Students will learn advanced footwork, blade-work, techniques, tactics, strategies, and physical and psychological preparation for competitions.
Schedule: Mon & Wed, 5p, 6pm, and 7pm classes.
Program duration: 2 months, 2x classes per week
Cost: $279
Adults
Adult classes: Monday, Wednesday, from 7pm to 8pm.
Private Lessons
Private one-on-one lessons with a coach is critical to a fencer's success. It is recommended for all fencers, especially the ones who intend to fence at competitions, take weekly private lessons.
Cost: $40-$55
Age Criterias
The age requirement is at least 6 years of age. A young student must be able to follow instructions and perform the basic fencing movements. It is recommended ages 6 through 8 start with taking private one on one lessons to prepare them for the group classes. Once they are ready, we enroll them in group classes based on age and height/size.
Open Bouting
Open bouting hours are on Wednesdays from 8-9:30pm. Please call before attending.
