Classes and Options
We offer group classes and private lessons for both recreational and competitive fencing. Our specialty is in private lessons and small group class sizes with no more than 15 students per class to provide our students with the best quality training they deserve. Our studio is also fully equipped with the latest fencing equipment and technology.
Frequent tournaments, competition strip coaching, private one-on-one lessons, small group classes, up to date fencing technologies.
Our students have won numerous regional medals.
Beginners
The beginner classes will teach students fencing fundamentals, footwork, blade-work, basic defense/offense, and rules. At the end of the program, students will be able to fence, direct bouts as a referee, understand rules and restrictions.
Intermediate/Advance
Students will learn advanced footwork, blade-work, techniques, tactics, strategies, physical and psychological preparation for more effective bouting inside the club and at competitions.
Private Lessons
Private one-on-one lessons with a coach is critical to a fencer's success. It is recommended for all fencers, especially if you intend to fence at competitions, take weekly private lessons.
Age Requirement
The age requirement is at least 6 years of age. A young student must be able to follow instructions and perform the basic fencing movements. It is recommended ages 6 through 8 start with taking private one on one lessons to prepare them for the group classes. Once they are ready, we enroll them in group classes based on age and height/size.
Open Bouting
Come to our weekly open bouting sessions on
Wednesday nights from 8pm to 9:30pm for some serious blade action! We also offer bout reviews for an additional fee.
